Anningahof estate – SCULPTURES 2022
Hib Anninga shows the best of Dutch sculpture on his estate and I am very happy to be a part of it! Also in the coming year 2022 Girosplode will be on display in the beautiful gardens. I regularly receive very positive reactions and beautiful pictures from enthusiastic culture lovers who visited the park near Zwolle. Thank you all!
For the upcoming season I am designing a new work that will consist largely of marble, but also quite a bit of steel and red installation tube. That’s a lot of work so I started it in good time. Next week I will visit Hib to discuss the transport and installation over a cup of coffee. I’m up and running the coming months and will keep you posted on all developments!
Sculpture Park Landgoed Anningahof is located on the outskirts of Zwolle. On this beautiful estate annually changing exhibitions are organized since 2004. The philosophy of the park is to show the development of Dutch contemporary sculpture; work from 1960 to the present day. Besides some ‘old’ masters such as André Volten, Shinkichi Tajiri and Cornelius Rogge, artists with established names show both indoor and outdoor sculptures. Recurring names include Hans van Bentem, Sjoerd Buisman, Tom Claassen, Rob Voerman and Henk Visch. There is also room for young talent; think of Levi van Veluw and Maartje Korstanje. The park itself, with wild flowers, ponds, grasslands and beautiful trees, is a particularly beautiful place for contemporary sculpture.

Opening hours
The park is open from Wednesday to Sunday afternoons from 13:00-18:00.
